absolutely correct that you should not tell anyone ahead of time that paranormal plays a role in this plot. It was brilliant to market it as a thriller however deceptive that might be. So I disagree with you on that.

Just finished One Perfect Couple because I had heard about it on your channel. While I liked parts of it as well as the beginning of the book, this book was just a disappointment for me. And I really liked other Ruth Ware books. I am going to try the other books like The Quiet Tenant! Looks really promising. Thanks for the recommendations!

Totally agree with The Writing Retreat, The Kind Worth Killing, and My Husband (I wasn't expecting the ending but loved it). Will look into a few more you Yessed.

Loved this video, will have to watch it again to write down the books to add to my TBR. The one book that you said no to I said yes, was Fourth Wing, it was one of my all time favorite books last year and is the reason I now read fantasy books even though it falls into romantasy. I totally agreed with you about the Writing Retreat because I tried reading that one and the pacing was too slow for me.

Death of A Bookseller was a DNF for me.

Such a shame that One of Our Own was disappointing. I've not read this one but I've read 4 books by her so far. My favourites by her are The Perfect Child and The Best of Friends. I enjoyed When She Returned and The Secrets of Us too (3 star reads). I'd highly recommend the first two. Blood Sugar sounds great. I've never heard of it before! Just added it to my list of books to read.

A Winter Haunting is the sequel and it is really good as well :)

I’m currently reading My Husband and am so excited about it. My top read this year is The Reformatory. I also loved Acts of Forgiveness by Maura Cheeks.

I finally got my hands on The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James and LOVED it! Definitely one of my favourites so thus far!
